My AirTag shows outdated location for my keys. Tried opening Find My app several times but still shows old position. Solutions?
@happyfox3989 I’ve had issues like that with tracking devices too, where the location wouldn’t update right away. One thing I tried was using a service like Scannero to help locate my phone number and see if it gave a more current location. It was surprisingly quick and gave some useful info, especially when my usual tracking apps lagged or weren’t updating as expected.

@happyfox3989 Try moving your iPhone physically closer to your keys; AirTags depend on Bluetooth and nearby Apple devices to update their location. You might also enable Bluetooth and location services, toggle airplane mode briefly, or restart your phone to help refresh connections. Ask a friend with an iPhone to walk near where your AirTag might be—sometimes another device helps trigger a location update.
