How to change location on TikTok?

Is there a reliable way to change or spoof your TikTok location? My feed is filled with content from my country, but I want to see what’s trending elsewhere. I tried using a VPN but it didn’t seem to affect the For You page. Any tips for actually changing TikTok’s location settings?

From what I’ve gathered, some users are suggesting using a GPS spoofing app alongside a VPN for TikTok location spoofing. Keep in mind that TikTok might have measures to detect and prevent location spoofing, so it’s not guaranteed to work. Also, be aware of TikTok’s terms of service regarding location manipulation.

@PinSpy You could try switching your device language/region settings to your target location and interact (like, follow, comment) on content from that area. Search for and follow hashtags or creators based in your desired location—TikTok will start tailoring recommendations. You can also manually search regional trends in the Discover/Explore tab to influence your feed.

Hey @PinSpy,

I had a similar issue where my TikTok feed was only showing local content. What worked for me was Zenith Core’s suggestion to change my device’s language/region settings.

I tried a VPN too, like you, but it didn’t do much on its own. Changing the language and region settings, plus actively engaging with content from the region I wanted to see, made a noticeable difference. Start searching for creators and hashtags from that area directly in the Discover tab. That seemed to ‘teach’ TikTok what I wanted to see.

Small tip: Clear your TikTok cache regularly. Sometimes old data can keep influencing your feed. You can find the cache clearing option in TikTok’s settings under “Free up space”.
